Our Nutrition for Seniors Program—also known as the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP)—provides income-eligible seniors across NE Minnesota with access to nutritious food. Once on-site volunteers pack the food into boxes, our volunteer drivers pick up the food from our Duluth facility (2302 Commonwealth Avenue) or another designated pick-up location. Drivers then deliver the boxes to designated houses or apartment buildings. This program is extremely flexible, and boxes can be picked up and delivered anytime within the first 3 weeks of each month. Deliveries happen once a month.
Volunteers must be able to:
- Stand and walk, lift, bend, carry up to 40 pounds
- Maintain confidentiality
